Your Gurkee's products are HAND MADE. Please allow 2-3 day processing time prior to shipping.

Free shipping applies to all retail orders of Gurkee's products ordered from WWW.GURKEES.COM and delivered in continental US. Our normal shipping carriers are USPS and UPS.

International and non-continental orders such as Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico... will have shipping & handling charges added to order.For large orders please call us for an estimate of production time.  Most individual orders are shipped the same day the order is received or within a week in the event we don't have them already made and in inventory.

Gurkee's sandals are made every day in our factory in West Virginia by our large staff of skilled artisans. 

Gurkee's Sandals are HAND MADE. We have hundreds and hundreds of possibilities when you consider 15 different sizes, over 5 different styles and over 10 colors and combinations. Therefore, it is possible that we aren't able to immediately the day you order.

We have a 12 step process in makeing your Gurkee's. Your Gurkee's are individually handled by human hands crafting your pair of Gurkee's.

Sizing...

Gurkee's Rope Sandals run pretty close to size. It's best to order the same size as your tennis shoe size. If you wear a half size, then go up to next. For instance 8 1/2... then order size 9. Some Gurkee's sandals have an adjustable strap on the heel which allow the sandals to be adjusted to just the right fit for you.

 

What are they made of? GURKEE’S® are made from soft carpet fiber that is spun into rope. They are heat welded together by hand to form a very strong bond. No glue or stitching is used to make Gurkee's sandals. The rope is buoyant, so if you lose one in the water, they float! We sell Ladies sizes 6-10, and go to size 11 in some colors and Men's sizes 8-13. As everyone's feet are of different sizes and shapes, we have tried to size them as you would tennis shoes. If you wear a 10 in tennis shoes, you would most likely take a 10 in GURKEE’S®. If you wear a half size, move up to the next whole size. If you are in doubt, it is better to order the next size up. My GURKEE’S® are starting to fray on the bottom and sides of the foot bed, what do I do? If you walk on concrete a lot, the rope fibers will start to fray at certain points. If you will take a lighter or a match and singe the fibers, they will weld back together! Do this occasionally after you wash your GURKEE’S®. Are GURKEE’S® Guaranteed? Yes, we stand behind every pair of GURKEE’S® we sell against any manufacturers defect. Under normal circumstances, if any of the ropes come undone or break, we will issue credit to our retailers to replace the sandals. It is not uncommon for a pair of GURKEE’S® to last for 7,8,9 or even 10 years. As long as the age of the sandal is within reason, it can be returned to the retailer for a new pair (please retain your receipt). Sandals that have extreme wear and tear will not be replaced. I wore my GURKEE’S® in the water yesterday, and today they smell funny, what's that smell? GURKEE’S® are chlorine and salt water resistant, and are great to wear in the water, but if you do, make sure you dry them when you put them up! Since they are made of carpet fiber, they will smell just like wet carpet if not dried thoroughly. Check out this real life sequence of events... Are they really machine washable? Yes, when your GURKEE’S® get dirty, throw them in with your laundry. We recommend drying them on low heat. If you dry them in too hot of a dryer, the carpet fibers tighten up, and it can seem like they have shrunk a bit. If this does happen, they will loosen back up with wear. For best drying results, stand your GURKEE’S® up against a wall outdoors (in the sun if possible). The water will flow through the carpet fibers and dry quicker!

Gurkees Sandals are very consistent in size but are hand made and may vary sometimes in sizing, so upon receiving your Gurkee's Sandals, please try them on for size on carpet. If your Gurkee's sandals don't fit, simply return them in new and unused condition with a copy of your Nature's Wish® invoice and original box, etc. as instructed below and we will send you another size with no additional cost to you.

In addition, we offer a 30 day replacement policy for defects in material or workmanship.

Your invoice includes return information with a number to write on the outside of your package. Packages without this number prominently written on the outside are not accepted.

 

Please do not return sandals that have been worn and dirty unless they have broken in some way. All returns must be within 30 days of purchase of product.

It is not uncommon for a pair of Gurkee's to last for 7,8,9 or even 10 years. We're sure you'll be happy with your Gurkee's Product.

Step 1 for returns: Look at your invoice or Packing Slip to find the instructions, return address and number to write on the outside of your package for return. Please call toll free to 855-4-GURKEE if you have any questions.

Returns not prominently displaying the number shown on your invoice return instructions will be refused and returned to sender.

Step 2: You must return the GURKEE'S® products as outlined in product return information above along with your sales receipt and credit card information within 30 days of purchase.

Product must be returned to our company mailing address shown on your invoice.
